Jon Collins, Chief Executive Officer of the Restorative Justice Council, paid a visit to King David primary school in Liverpool today, to see first hand the progress of our two-year pilot with a cluster of primary, secondary and special schools in the City.

Mr. Collins met Head Teacher Rachel Rick and the restorative Guiding Team at the school, who are taking a lead with restorative practice at King David primary:

“All staff see that it is effective and that there are some really startling results with some children.”

“Restorative practice has an impact on teaching and learning.”

Here are some pictures from the day, which show Restorative Thinking trainer Chris Straker working with aspiring pupil peer mentors and groups of learning assistants and lunchtime supervisors.
