Anti-Bullying Week 2018

Restorative Thinking Limited is the restorative practice partner of the Anti-Bullying Alliance.

Research shows that 1 in 2 young people will, at some point, experience bullying.  As a result, 1 in 3 will self-harm, grades will drop and 14% will develop eating disorders.

Anti-Bullying Week 2018 runs from 12th and 16th November 2018.

The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2018 is: ‘Choose Respect’ and Restorative Thinking has produced a resource to illustrate how restorative practice plays into this year’s key theme by asking,  How can restorative practice help teachers and pupils to choose a respectful, considered approach to conflict resolution and anti-bullying?

Restorative Thinking’s resource is free to download here.

The Anti-Bullying Alliance has developed a range of primary and secondary school packs which include lesson and assembly plans, cross curricular ideas, films to show and other resources to help bring Anti-Bullying Week to life.  All of these resources can be accessed here.
