Welcome to Restorative Thinking

Restorative Thinking - Prisons

Restorative Thinking Limited is a Social Enterprise.  We work with Police and Crime Commissioners, Prison and Probation Services and Youth Offending Services to implement and develop restorative ways of working. Our input ranges from restorative training to whole organisational culture change. Our restorative intervention programmes (delivered via licensing agreements) empower offenders with a restorative education, leading to meaningful engagement with victims, promoting responsibility-taking and improving self-talk, supporting a reduction in reoffending and improving life chances.

We work in partnership with the Shackleton Foundation, University of Central Lancashire Criminal Justice Unit and Odd Arts.

Restorative Thinking Limited has been awarded the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM) and the Training Provider Quality Mark (TPQM).  We aim to model restorative practice in all our dealings.  Download Restorative Thinking Limited’s company introduction here.

“Restorative Justice approaches are clearly gaining momentum to help rebalance the Justice System to meet the needs of victims as well as offenders. The Restorative Thinking service offer and intervention programmes ensure individuals are better prepared to understand the concept of restorative justice and restorative practice and their potential to achieve reconciliation and rehabilitation.” (Margaret Adams, Criminal Justice Consultant)
